The Commander Driver Terminal (CDT) serves as a mission computer, processing vehicle sensor data for display. It provides a centralized interface for managing vehicle functions, diagnostics, and communication within the LPP Vehicle Information Battle Management System (VIBMS). The CDT supports connection of two radio communication devices on independent networks, processes video feeds from fire control cameras and transfers navigation and diagnostic data to the command system, ensuring seamless information flow.
Designed for advanced mission coordination, the CDT enables commanders to send tactical and target data to multiple Interface Driver Terminal (IDT) blocks, facilitating real-time communication and efficient execution of missions. LPP has successfully integrated the CDT into armoured vehicles, including the AČR PANDUR II and T-72, through the VIBMS platform.
Commander Driver Terminal is a part of complex VIBMS system and integrates with Diagnostic Unit, Interface Driver Terminal and Inertial Navigation Unit.
