LPP Commander Driver Terminal (CDT) operates as a mission computer, processing vehicle sensor data for display. It provides a centralised interface for managing vehicle functions, diagnostics, and communication within the LPP Vehicle Information Battle Management System (VIBMS). The CDT supports the connection of two radio communication devices on independent networks and processes video feeds from fire control cameras. It also transfers navigation and diagnostic data to the command system, ensuring seamless information flow.
Designed for advanced mission coordination, the CDT enables commanders to send tactical and target data to multiple Interface Driver Terminal blocks, facilitating real-time communication and efficient execution of missions. LPP has successfully integrated the CDT into armoured vehicles, including the AČR PANDUR II and T-72, as part of the VIBMS platform.
The CDT integrates with the Diagnostic Unit, Interface Driver Terminal, and Inertial Navigation Unit, forming a core part of the VIBMS architecture.
