Interface Driver Terminal (IDT) functions as a vehicle mission computer. It processes data from sensors and transmits it to display units such as the LPP Display Driver Unit (DDU). Acting as a control board, the IDT interfaces between the LPP Vehicle Information Battle Management System (VIBMS) and the driver. It collects data from the CAN bus, processes it, and sends the information to the driver’s tablet via Ethernet. Additionally, the IDT supports video streaming from reversing cameras, enhancing situational awareness.
LPP has integrated the Interface Driver Terminal into armoured Czech Army vehicles, including the PANDUR II and T-72, through the VIBMS platform. This robust integration ensures reliable data processing, vehicle control, and real-time communication.
The Interface Driver Terminal is a part of the VIBMS system and integrates with the Commander Driver Terminal, Diagnostic Unit, and Inertial Navigation Unit.
