Basic description

AMODIS is a modular vibration sensor suite designed for long-term monitoring of reinforced concrete bridges. It combines high-sensitivity MEMS accelerometers with gyroscopes and temperature sensors to detect early signs of structural deterioration.

The system performs predictive diagnostics using machine learning algorithms that identify anomalies and forecast material degradation. This enables maintenance teams to schedule interventions proactively, reducing long-term costs and helping prevent structural failures.

Vibration data is transmitted wirelessly via a WiFi gateway for real-time monitoring, with local SD card backup for added reliability. Each unit is magnetically mountable and designed for ease of maintenance, featuring modular components and quick battery replacement.

AMODIS is scheduled for deployment on all future reinforced concrete bridges in the Czech Republic, supporting nationwide infrastructure safety and reliability.
