LPP HORNET UGV is a lightweight, autonomous ground vehicle optimised for logistical support and adaptable across a wide range of mission profiles. In addition to resupply and transport roles, it can be configured for combat support, reconnaissance, medical, and CBRN operations — or converted into an anti-drone system. Equipped with the LPP Autonomous Navigation System, the vehicle makes real-time decisions and navigates complex terrain without operator input. The onboard system calculates optimal routes and actively avoids obstacles on its own.
Its navigation is powered by LiDAR, an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), terrain segmentation, and object recognition. The autonomous system fuses data from these sensors, allowing the vehicle to reach preset waypoints without prior environmental mapping. In GNSS-denied environments, the vehicle relies on inertial navigation system to maintain positional accuracy in challenging conditions.
The UGV also supports integration with Multispectral Imaging Systems to enhance situational awareness and extend mission utility in surveillance and reconnaissance roles.
