The Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) provides continuous aircraft monitoring and fleet data management, with the flexibility to be adapted for unmanned systems. It collects data from multiple sensors and displays critical information on the EICAS page of the EFIS Multifunctional Display. Operating either as a stand-alone system or as part of the Mission Computer architecture, HUMS transmits data via LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, or Iridium to an app interface for seamless connectivity.
Supporting condition-based maintenance, the system reduces downtime and operational costs by enabling predictive diagnostics. It processes gathered data using advanced algorithms to detect anomalies, estimate component lifespan, and predict potential failures. Leveraging machine learning, the predictive algorithms continuously learn from new data. This process constantly improves predictions, enhances maintenance planning, and increases overall logistics chain efficiency.
