Basic description

The ZT J40 is a compact, high-performance turbojet engine developed for UAVs, target drones, and light aerial platforms. It features a single-stage radial compressor and a single-stage axial flow turbine, delivering a high thrust-to-weight ratio and fast throttle response. Its compact design is ideal for platforms with tight space constraints, without sacrificing power or capability.

The engine supports multiple start modes, including manual, auto air-start, and fully automatic electric start. It accelerates from idle to maximum RPM in under four seconds, enabling fast reaction times and mission flexibility.
